The instax mini LiPlay+™ is our newest hybrid camera, and it’s primed and ready for adventure. It’s where instant camera meets smartphone printer, and it even has a brand new selfie camera feature thrown in for good measure. Snap on the spot, or print later on from your phone. With the instax mini LiPlay+™, you never have to miss the moment.

For the first time in instax™ history, this model features two high-quality cameras. Flip between the rear lens or the front-facing, wide-angle selfie camera depending on your mood. Behind the scenes or front and centre? You decide. 

But the real showstopper feature? It’s an instant camera that talks back. The instax mini LiPlay+™ goes far beyond the visual with sound features that turn every print into a memory you can hear and experience again and again.

instax Sound Print™ lets you record 3-second audio clips, then they’ll be automatically added as a QR code to your print. Whether it’s a voice note from your bestie, the pop of a champagne bottle, or chaotic background noise from that weekend get together, you can bottle it all and re-live it with a simple scan.

That’s not all. instax Sound Album™ takes it a step further. With this feature, you can turn your snaps into short, animated videos decked out with music and backdrops.

This hybrid camera is designed to keep up with, and inspire, your creativity. The tools don’t stop there, either:

This new design-focused model is available in two sleek and stylish colourways. Choose from Sand Beige with its gorgeous soft and neutral tone, or cool-toned Midnight Blue for a modern edge.

No more awkward arm angles for tricky group shots — just switch from back camera to front, and let the magic commence. No need to swap devices.
  

• Sound features: Don’t just show your experience — embellish it with sound using the brand new instax Sound Print™ and instax Sound Album™ features. This hybrid instant camera model doubles up as a high-quality audio recorder, giving your snaps a chance to speak volumes. All audio data is stored for up to two years, so you can treat it like your very own audio diary.
  

• Layered photo mode: Show more and say more with the new Layered Photo Mode, where you can combine front-camera selfies with back-camera scenery shots in one single print. Choose your favourite template, and enjoy collaging like never before.
  

Improved display: Bigger, better, bolder. The new instax mini LiPlay+™ comes with an upgraded 3.0-inch TFT colour LCD monitor with a pixel count of approximately 920,000 dots. More screen to play with? More memories waiting to be captured.

Capturing and nurturing creativity at the instax mini LiPlay+™ launch event

Ready to go behind the scenes? To celebrate the launch of the brand new instax mini LiPlay+™, we hosted a creative event earlier in the month bringing together ten authentic creators for an afternoon of making, storytelling, and photography with the instax mini LiPlay+™ offering a helping hand.

At the heart of the event was a floral-making workshop. With handfuls of seasonal blooms and autumnal, wild greenery, attendees crafted their own stunning bespoke bouquets with a photography twist. Each bouquet was personalised using instax™ mini prints, clipped into the arrangement as a finishing flourish. 

Throughout the event, creators got to know the instax mini LiPlay+™ and all of its new features, and used their new sidekicks to capture interactions, record soundbits, and generate instant prints (both old and new). All of which made their experience of the day go beyond the frame — our ultimate goal.
